You’ve got questions. I’ve got answers. On today’s episode of The MOVEMENT Movement podcast I am doing a Q&A with questions about barefoot running and going barefoot in public. If you have questions that you want me to A, then you can drop them to me by E-mail. Just send an email to [email protected] and when I do the next Q&A, maybe I’ll have your Q for my answer.

Come to and you’ll find all the places where we are sharing this content on YouTube, on Facebook, on Twitter, on, et cetera, et cetera… So you can subscribe and share and review and like, and all those things that you know how to do.

  1. I think it’s time for you to present your sales pitch for recreational barefoot sprinting, and good resources to learn about it, books?, etc., since most of the barefoot resources seem to be geared to endurance running. I realize you do wear track shoes to compete, however.

You said in another podcast that sprinting was NOT running as fast as you could, so I can’t call it sprinting officially. I like to run fast for a very short distance, walk, rest, then repeat. HIIT, I guess.

If I may give a thank you here, I did your 7-day course on barefooting, and now I happily run softly on concrete. Do what feels good. Repeat. Do it a little longer. Repeat. Oh, and smile while you do it. And then save your Xeros to wear shopping so people ask about them.

    • Well, Sue, there aren’t many of us sprinters out there, barefoot or otherwise 😉

I’m on my way to Munich right now (I’m in the airport even as I type) and I brought what looks like a great book about sprinting with me. I’ll review it once I’m done and, I expect, get the author to join me for an upcoming JTMM podcast.

So glad to hear about your barefoot on concrete experience! Keep smiling and Live Life Feet First.
