Running a marathon in less than 2-hours is one of the most amazing things ever. And now that Eliud Kipchoge has done it, other people are going to do it too, right? No, I don’t think so. And we’re going to talk about that on today’s episode of The MOVEMENT Movement, the podcast for people who want to know the truth about what it takes to have a happy, healthy, strong body starting with the feet first.
Let’s have a conversation, visit our website at jointhemovementmovement.com or on YouTube or on Facebook or Instagram. If you don’t know where to find us in all those channels, go to jointhemovementmovement.com where you’ll find links to all those places to interact. And again, please spread the word, share, like, hit the bell if you’re on YouTube. If you have any questions or comments or anyone that you think should be on the show, drop an email to me at [email protected]. And as always, if you want to be part of the tribe, please subscribe. But more importantly, go out, enjoy yourself and live life feet first.
Three thoughts:
1. The greatest marathon performance of the current era IMO is Abebe Bikila because he broke the Olympic and World record running barefoot on the cobblestones of Rome.
2. What is the best time in a certified race for 100m barefoot?
3. Brigid Kosgei set a new women’s marathon record of 2:14:04 recently in the Chicago marathon wearing the same model shoe as Kipchoge. Her time beat Bikila,s barefoot time of 2:15:16 by over a minute. https://www.outsideonline.com/2403868/eliud-kipchoge-brigid-kosgei-nike-vaporflys
There is definately a lot to find out about this subject. I like all the points you made
