Yeah, it’s important to have a strong core. Well, what if that’s the worst thing you could possibly have? That’s what we’re going be diving into today. On today’s episode of the MOVEMENT Movement podcast. The podcast for people who want to know the truth about what it takes to have a happy, healthy, strong body, starting feet first.

I’m Steven Sashen host from Xero Shoes.

My guest today is Jae Gruenke, a Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner, running technique expert, and founder of The Balanced Runner™. Jae has been helping runners from beginner to Olympian improve their form since 2003.

She is a Feldenkrais practitioner, and uses this method of movement education to help runners improve their form and improve their motor control.

  1. I wish Jae had been given more chances to finish her thoughts. Steven you kept going off on all ideas after you’d ask her something. Hmmm?

    • I was going to write exactly the same, please have her again and stop interrupting her.
It is a super interesting topic and a brilliant woman as guest but a very bad interview.

    • I agree. It was the most disappointing to watch and listen. Steven, if you invite an expert, then please let them speak. Constant interruptions and cutting her off comes across incredibly immature and unskillful. Such impatience and inability to hold space creates a distrust in the host and the content. For a great example of skillful interviewing I would recommend listening to Tami Simon podcasts.

  2. Very Interesting. I didn’t know that you do these podcasts on feet. I have subscribed and will listen again–also look at the podcasts that have been done in the past in my free time–which is a lot right now. Thank you.
